The Situation
In 2013, River Valley Church (Pastor Rob Ketterling) commissioned us to reimagine and redefine, the way they visually represent, and verbally communicate their missions and outreach ministry called Global Project. The logo was outdated, and the verbiage was driven by facts and information, and the brand we saw lacked a clear, compelling voice needed to engage more people. It was time to change that.

The Solution
We shifted the brand voice, from facts and stats, to a voice that included their audience with a new purpose statement, slogan, and brand statements. With a new voice, we also created a new visual identity, marketing strategy, and a 2-year relationship of managing the brand. When we first met in 2013, they were sending 20-25 teams. After our rebrand and 2-year partnership, they are now sending 50 teams across the world and engaging their congregation better than before.

The Relaunch
To relaunch the brand, we came up with a campaign called “For Everyone”. The campaign brought to life the new slogan of “Our Heart Is Global”, and the new purpose statement for the brand that communicated making a difference is not just for someone else – it’s for everyone.

Social Media & Email Marketing

We launched an Instagram account and grew it from zero to over 2,200 followers in the first 8 months. We also initiated monthly email marketing campaigns and in just the first 4 months we were seeing double the industry average in clicks, opens, and engagement.

Brand Management
For over two years we came alongside the Global Project team and managed the communication for the brand. From annual magazine style pieces to monthly emails, or social media posts; we found new ways to tell the stories of the brand and built awareness and engagement.
